Select Benefits Plus is known as an union-friendly broker that specializes in voluntary benefits and streamlines administration through pre-tax and/or after-tax payroll deduction. The founder of Select Benefits Plus is Frank Marcellino. Frank understands the inter-dependent relationships of business, insurance, union politics, and marketing. He knows how to properly position the best benefits available on the market, and knows how to maximize employee coverage while reducing their exposure to potential loss.
Frank recruited Scott Sullenberger (Sully) in 2007 to become the Supplemental Benefits Specialist for Select Benefits Plus NE. Scott's performance and contribution to our organization has created a vehicle for employers to increase and maximize a loyal workforce and improve employee retention. Sully delivers straight forward information and advice to employees about their current benefits and advises them on how to reduce or eliminate their gaps in coverage. He completes each employee's coverage with supplemental benefits to fit their individual lifestyles and incomes. He serves as a Benefits Counselor and meets one on one with each employee to insure individual needs are properly identified and solutions are correctly configured for each person. The result is a very educated work force that understands their overall benefits and has peace of mind, because they know their supplemental benefits give them a financial security net. Our track record speaks for itself with very visible accounts and very visible results. We have no where to hide with public clientele. We strive daily to deliver excellence, and we always succeed. We take pride in our hard work and perseverance.
We have been in business since 1970 and we continue to grow and expand our services throughout the Northeast Region. Our most recent clients include the New Hampshire State Troopers Association, the Manchester Central Labor Council, County of Merrimack, IBEW Local 1837 (NH & ME) and The Professional Fire Fighters of Vermont.
Frank and Scott continue to work with and develop unions, municipalities, and the private sector for the promotion of voluntary benefits while overseeing the daily activities of the staff and Benefit Counselors.
