Frank Marcellino was introduced to Thomas Kelly over 15 years ago to represent and implement Aflac solutions into his key accounts for Select Benefits Plus.  Thomas Kelly goes by the nickname TJ and has pioneered the Aflac solutions early on here in New England during the 1990's before the famous Aflac Duck was created in 2000.  TJ is responsible for the start of other Aflac Regions and Districts that still exist today.

TJ is a visionary and has a unique gift of identifying key individuals and putting organizations together in such a way to guarantee excellent results.  TJ holds the position of Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for all facets of the organization that involve sales and customer service.  TJ is known to think outside of the box and is willing to try new ideas and methods to enhance Aflac solutions for Aflac partners.

Thomas works with Scott daily to make sure clients are being taken care of and are receiving the most up to date benefits from Aflac in an ever changing industry.  They work together on all fronts from customer satisfaction to the visions and goals set by their clients.  They make sure all Aflac agents in our district are given sufficient training and leadership to succeed and that we deliver solutions that bring a peace of mind when an unexpected injury or illness occurrs.

TJ has been very instrumental and still continues to be the driving force behind the introduction and implementation of Aflac benefits into each of the organizations associated with Select Benefits.  Give TJ a call or send him an E-Mail at thomas_kelly@us.aflac.com with your Aflac needs and/or questions.
Aflac Company Overview
Aflac is the number one provider of individual health insurance and guaranteed-renewable insurance (National Underwriter, "Life & Health Statistical Report," August 18/25, 2008).

If you have an accident or illness that prevents you from working, the last thing you need to worry about is how you'll pay your bills.  That's where Aflac comes in.  Our insurance policies may help with those out-of-pocket expenses not covered by your major medical insurance.  whether it's ordinary living expenses like food and household bills or medical treatments such as physical therapy, Aflac can help you be prepared for whatever life may bring.

How Do Aflac Benefits Work
Aflac insurance policies pay cash benefits directly to you, unless assigned, regardless of any other insurance you may have.  We pay cash benefits fast-processing most claims within four days (company statistics, December 31, 2007).  You own the policy and manage the cash benefits.  Aflac's policies are portable, so you keep your coverage if you change jobs or retire.

Most Popular Aflac Policies

Accident - Aflac's accident insurance policy is designed to pay benefits that help you cover the ongoing expenses incurred after an accident injury, from copayments to lodging and travel, and includes a wide range of benefits that other plans may not cover, such as emergency treatment, follow-up treatment, annual wellness benefit, and initial hospitalization.  Family coverage is available.

Hospital Confinement Indemnity - Aflac's hospital confinement indemnity insurance policy helps with the noncovered expenses of a hospital stay.  We pay a benefit when you're required to stay in a hospital for 24 hours or more for a covered sickness or injury.  Family coverage is available.

Short-Term Disability
Aflac's short-term disability insurance policy helps with the loss of pay resulting from a sickness or off-the-job injury through monthly benefits.  We pay a cash benefit for each day you're disabled. (Subject to benefit periods and elimination periods).  The policy is guaranteed-renewable to age 70 and portable (the policy stays with you regardless of job changes).

Cancer - Aflac's cancer insurance policy helps with medical expenses related to cancer treatment.  Cancer   treatment can cause out-of-pocket expenses that aren't covered by major medical insurance.  Benefits can be used to help with the cost of cancer treatment, including hospital stays, nursing services, cancer surgery/anesthesia, and much more.  Family coverage is available.

Critical Care and Recovery
We pay a First-Occurrence Benefit and Re-Occurring Benefit to include a hospital confinement and continuing care benefits for heart attacks, strokes, comas, major human organ transplants, and much more.

Life Insurance
Aflac can be offered as either a primary source of life insurance or enhance current life coverage in place. Employees will appreciate the convenience of applying for the coverage they want and need.  Aflac Life is designed to be easily administered.

Scott understands the concerns of a brokerage firm and the risks involved when introducing supplemental benefits to our clientele.  He can be trusted to do the right thing and make sure that enrollments, claims, and follow up are satisfied with excellent returns for the partnership to flourish. Our clients are faced with growing out of pocket expenses and Aflac is a perfect way to reduce or eliminate their growing gaps in coverage for pennies on the dollar at no cost to the employer.

Frank Marcellino started working with Scott in January of 2008 to bring a new vision and new energy to the SEA (New Hampshire State Employees Association) account.  Tom Kelly (TJ) promoted Scott to a District Sales Manager in January of 2009 which allowed Scott to bring creativity with authorization to implement new strategies and grow our business.  We are extemely happy with the partnership and thankful for the return on investment with Scott and TJ.

Scott introduced internet technologies, real-time customer service, and other key management tools to better serve the Aflac policy holders within each of our accounts.  He has created a balanced focus of sales and customer service throughout his District that has greatly improved the deliverance of Aflac benefits to our policy holders.  Employees are paid their wellness/claims in a timely manner and treated with respect and professionalism.

Sully started and developed several sales operations in Silicon Valley and New York City for over 20 years prior to embracing the Aflac opportunity.  He is a graduate of West Point.  His old fashioned style of customer service combined with his knowledge of technology and effective leadership is a proven winner.  Scott is also known as Sully and he volunteers his time to help worth while organizations to become their best.

Scott continues to ensure that his agents are well trained and kept up to date with policy features and proper integration of the Aflac benefits.  Give Scott a call or send him an E-Mail at william_sullenberger@us.aflac.com with your Aflac needs and/or questions.
